Kimabaya – Re/Form
Three important Lebanese names have joined to create an ephemeral event downtown Paris: the fashion designer milia m, the design studio Bokja and the Lebanese restaurant Liza. The collaboration between Milia Maroun and the two furniture designers from Bokja has rendered a beautiful collection of 23 kimabayas presented in the magnificent scenario which is the Liza restaurant.
The kimabaya is the marriage of the Japanese kimono and the Oriental abaya. Pure silk lining, unique designs, fine fabrics, are the standards of this couture effort which was named Re/Form. The pieces are reversible, very fluid, with ancient prints and contemporary motifs. Prices going from 1,500 to 2,000 € apiece, for these Orient dreams to wear.
