Paloma – Mougins

Two and a half years after being opened, the Paloma restaurant in Mougins bears proudly its second star. Recognized by the prestigious Guide Michelin, chef Nicolas Decherchi and his team have gained recognition in a very short period of time. There are few 2 stars restaurants in the Guide Michelin, so being part of this selected group is a plus for this young and talented chef whose experience is proof of his ability: La Villa de Lys (*), Louis XV (***), La Chèvre d’Or (**) and the Bristol in Paris (***).

 

 

The Paloma occupies an ancient neo-Provençal villa at the outskirts of Mougins, culinary pole in France and Europe. The establishment has 3 halls and one terrace with a splendorous view over the Cannes bay. The Mediterranean ambience adds charm to the cuisine the guests can taste. Contemporary baroque interior décor is due to Monika Babisova. The venue can accommodate up to 40 people.

 

 

Chef Decherchi has worked with important chefs like Bruno Oger, Eric Fréchon, George Blanc and Cyril Lignac. Nonetheless, pastry chef Yohan Jara and hall director Yannick Thomas also played an important role in this achievement. Authenticity, creativity and equilibrium are just a few adjectives to describe the gastronomy in Paloma where the concept “home-made” is claimed around the Mediterranean cuisine. A last important remark for a French restaurant: the wine menu has up to 120 different references.

 

 

Open Tuesday through Saturday. The restaurant is closed to the public late October, mid February and late May for the Cannes Festival.
