Nubé – Hotel Marignan
The Marignan hotel in Paris has just revealed its new face. Probably one of the major changes is the re-design of restaurant Nubé, now managed by Colombian chef Juan Arbelaez. Referred as a “green haven at the heart of the hotel”, it actually comports a serene and natural ambiance where clients and guests can enjoy the delicious cuisine prepared by this ex Top Chef TV reality candidate.
The dishes have that unique Latino touch in their names and components, like the Que Dieu soit loué (perfect egg, squid risotto and parmesan cheese), the Kbio (roasted cod, cosmopolitan cabbages, currant and elderberry) or even the Arlette dessert (preserved quince with genepi liquor, dried quince and ginger jam, lemon mascarpone, muscovado sugar pastry tile)… Rich flavors and correct presentations make of them a mandatory experience, maybe just to know what taste the quince has.
The Marignan hotel can actually vaunt about its location: just a few meters away of Champs Elysées, right in the middle of the reputed Golden Triangle. Even if it sounds as a very busy area, rue Marignan is actually noise-proofed so that tranquility is the standard for the clients looking for a convenient stay in always traffic altered Paris. The hotel has 45 rooms and 5 suites; a bar and a private screening room complete the offer of this superb site, a hidden secret to discover.
